    Universal Configs - Possible "Everything" Pack?

    I was wondering if I took all (most) of the mods in the Universal Configs and added them to Monster, if it should theoretically all work together and not have massive conflicts. Has anyone attempted this? Really pushing for a massive modpack to include a ton of stuff to do and keep me occupied...

    What are you currently playing?

    Was playing Galacticraft SMP, but now that we've made it to the moon, I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do next. My SSP Monster world I abandoned.. and after playing GCraft, I want to go back and start over. Planning on adding Ars Magica 2 and Mekanism right off, most likely some novelty ones...

    I thought this as well, but an MPS Powersuit with flight control set to 0 and rocket boots + jetpack on the same hotkey mimics the gravisuite chest.

    Were there any reasons given for not including Mekanism and Ars Magica in Monster? I was hoping to see them in the final modpack list. :( Edit: Oh yea.. Galacticraft too. I saw that the configs on BoP could set to offset the problem with plants/biomes on the moon/mars.

    The thread was supposed to be about FTB Monster. AM2 isn't in it sadly. :( But TiCO was the best as far as pure melee damage is concerned. 2 points higher than the bedrock sword.

    There are a few fixes out though.. if you want to call them fixes.. One is simply removing all endertanks and liquid tesseracts. That worked for me, but I didn't find it worth it. Another couple people said it was problems with the Dragon API and it worked for them to update it to the latest.

    Or not, because the issue is "known" and there are 50 other examples if you really need the full log. One glance through the forums would have told you that.

    They don't just forget sometimes. You have to trade with the villagers a bit and you'll go back into the +rep with them.

    [Monster 1.0.8] Iridium Ore

    Yep, between dungeon loot and nether ores, I have 50+ iridium ore and I haven't touched a mass fab yet. I had a bug with my iridium ore though, so careful with it. 10 pieces of nether iridium vanished into thin air.

    Moving to a new map.

    The latter seems to have worked. I started a new world and copied over the base. Mystcraft books/ages are demolished/borked, but everything else is intact. It's all on a backup save, so I'll play with it more, but unless something changes, all is well aside from having to find a new lava age...

    If I could take all my belongings and put them into a new world, I would, but cheating everything in would take ages. I actually wanted to redo my base entirely because when I started playing, I didn't plan on playing as much as I did. I was going to wait until Monster came out of beta for that...

    I know it's possible to use MCEdit to delete the area outside my main base to get the new worldgen, but when I did that, all the villages generated with no chests or villagers. More than 5 or 6 I found were generated in the middle of the ocean, so it was really bad looking. Is there a way to...

    Yea, and pro-tip.. If you don't want to wait around forever wearing down your sword, I went to the end and just broke Natura clouds for a while. It wore it down much faster than just killing mobs.

    So... I updated Monster today and..

    Haha, I just have to spam "/killall" but I was able to mitigate some of the headache and farm trampling for the time being by planting a bunch of silverwood trees and changing over the biome to magical forest. Definitely was time consuming and just outside of my border I still have tons of them...

    You don't put the RF Battery on it until your sword is wore down to it's last leg. I just tried. It was 19 or 20 base, 21 when worn down all the way. Added an RF battery and it stayed at 21. (Broadsword) Getting a cutlass would increase the damage because of the 10% crit thing.. At this point...

    The only problem with using a cutlass is that you have a higher chance of RNG playing a part in it instead of base melee damage since it's a +10% crit. I'll test it out with damage indicators.

    it's only 8 + 4 full charged, so the same base +12 as bedrock sword, adding sharpness V will make it on par with bedrock sword, but it won't beat it. You have to charge it and be using empowered mode.. and you can't get loot 5 on it.
