Good news, everyone! I came up with a rather compact and effective fix. Picture: Set the router to "Barrel" so it won't mistakenly throw the items into the filter(both of which are empty) Also, the pipe from the filter is going to my "Overflow" chest.

Hm, I may have gotten an idea on how to fix this problem. Nothing elegant but it should work. Will let you guys know if I find anything that works.

Well, I don't have any empty barrels so I don't think that's it, I even put my chest at the end of my wall and the cobble barrel right next to the router. It seems to be truly random. Also, I tried setting it to barrels only but then items that don't have a barrel get stuck in the router.

I'm working on a pretty large sorting system and i'm having a few problems with barrels. The main problem I'm having is that even though I have a barrel for cobblestone(for example) sometimes the router will send the cobble to my overflow chest (Items without a barrel go here) I'm not sure...

I wouldn't say its a major lag but over time it gets to the point that it becomes really choppy and I have to either reset or end the process entirely. Also, it does lag a bit more when I try to record. Its expected but still annoying.

Ok, well I followed the directions but it didn't seem to fix anything, still running at about 1.7gb and the console says its still leaking.

Alright, since I uninstalled Optifine the lag hasn't been nearly bad but it seems there is still something going on. I checked the logs and it seems a few of my worlds are leaking. http://pastebin.com/QJ3FE3Bn Also, sorry for not having logs till just now. Seems I closed my console window...

Sorry about that, just forgot them. However I did try removing optifine since both it and the lag were recent things. I'm not sure if it was the main cause of the problem but it seems to have stopped for now. Will post logs if it acts up again.

Recently, I noticed Feed the Beast has been really laggy for me and when I check windows manager, its using about 1.7 gb of memory. Any idea what could be causing it or how to fix it? Edit: Oh yes, I'm using Direwolf20 pack if that matters.
