    Well speaking for myself, I watch the 'famous' youtubers for entertainment, which they never fail to deliver. There are quite a few youtubers with only a fraction of the subscribers that offer heaps of information.

    Ok guys, I ran into a snag with the PC assembly line. I need a program to make PCB's. Is that a loot item? On the wiki there is a program for a tube and pcb. NEI only shows laser and drill programs.

    A trench around your base will 'trap' mobs that move towards your base. They are typically 2 deep so that mobs cannot jump out of them. Simply decide how much of an area you want for trees and such and dig the trench around that.

    you can melt the small stones (pebbles?) you get form sifting in the crucible. It takes a metric crap ton of stones but you can pour them into an ingot cast and get seared bricks that way. The crucible doesn't create alloys but you can make the plain ingots and grind them using a grind stone...

    You bring up a good point here. What methods of lighting are people using that see mobs appear like that? Glowstone nooks and such? I only ever use torches and have not seen this happen. If we get a bit more info together we could maybe close in on the problem.

    Exactly, I manually backup my save before going to a city. Since I usually die, I will be ready for a possible SYNC glitch (hasn't happened yet, knock on wood). Podonnel had a good suggestion about encasing the sync chamber in a water column. I might do that because its a such an elegantly...

    I found a big reactor in my 2nd city. I have circled the other 2 cities (not venturing inside) and have not seen any other reactor buildings. Speaking of them, they are fun to clear, especially the top floor! edit: I am afraid I am going to have to walk a long way to spawn any more cities...

    Creepers getting in touch with the leaking pyrotheum will lead to big big holes. Coming in the next version (1.1.3) the mob griefing will be off. You can do this yourself now by typing "/gamerule mobGriefing false".

    I think I've gotten about 8 red dyes from raiding the cities, so thats an option too.

    The one that is 600+ meters away? No need to get it right away (if at all). I still havent gone and checked.
