This should help a lot with routing stuff properly. You can simply throw any ores into the pulverizer and get them cooked up. But before you do that you should get 2-3 seperate lines going with RP2. As you mentioned, all the gem-like stuff and dusts don't have to go into the autoprpcessing...

Yeah, i think you could use redpower pumps for making that, as it is meant to get your ass up and build a selfconstructed cage for every single block you move. Ensure, that you have your man-made lake covered by any material before you start pumping!

The relay has been put in by elo to make that possible, switching between, bc pipes and rp tubes, as well as pulling items from an adjacent inventory, that can't put stuff into a rp pipenetwork. They also work as a buffer.
