A much more appropriate things to say would be: "We are hoping the 1.5 packs will be available late April - early May." Putting a specific date on the release and then not following through is just rude and unprofessional. We still have a few hours left though, so lets see if we actually...

I agree. This forum seems to be receive a LOT less information than is available to people who watch the streams.

That is very true. Minecraft attracts a lot of people, but the ones who make themselves vocal are usually not of the ages that I like to team up with.
