I have decided i am going to make a sky city type of thing eventually. it will have lots of sky islands with about 1-2 buildings on each, connected by bridges

Hello! I have decided to finally make one of these threads about my progress. I have just started this world today, and made a couple things. Hope you enjoy. I don't quite know where my world will go, but ill find out when i get there. I might eventually make a list of the mods i am using, but...

depending on the version, in 1.5.2, bop 5.5 you need certain biomes to spawn certain gemstones

I do prefer the ebxl wasteland and mountainridge, but all the others are better too. The textures of the main blocks in those biomes for BOP are kinda......bleh. That is my only negative comment for BOP though

That would be pretty awsome, but you would need so many different buildings, and it would take a while to make, but still none the less a cool idea

In a test world one time, i got about 3 and a half turbines for a hp boiler, but that was a while ago and i dont know if anything changed

The only blocks i used where the black bricks, and with 1.5.2 i dont have them anyway, but i have other awesome decorative blocks, i love dat black granite

I prefer BOP. I love how the biomes not only add new woods and blocks, but also increased spawn for some mobs, like mystic grove spawns witches, jungles spawn jungle spiders ect.
