Was having same issue suddenly today but I updated video card driver and it's fixed. Had not realized there was new driver....

It's happened several times to me. Running water, standing water... not salt water. With cattails etc... anyway it seems like relogging usually fixes it. I am enjoying the pack otherwise, though I should post a diary of all the ways I've found to die in first day :)

Update: relogging fixed this. (though yesterday it didn't seem to fix same issue. weird.)

Anyone else have problem with water being undrinkable? It's fresh water source, obviously, but many times will find cannot drink it... using open hand etc. Seems to be a bug.

Hi - anyone come up against this problem? I try to download the modpack from FTB launcher. It seems to download, but then at the very end of the download I get a "Could not download modpack error." Don't recall this happening before. Any help appreciated.

One possibility - takes a little work, but kinda fun: you can create an "MJ Converter" using the Engineer's Toolbox mod. Once you have the basic Engineer's Toolbox stuff setup, it doesn't take much to crank out a few converters. I found a great tutorial that walks you through it step by step...

Hello - wondering if anyone else has run across this or has a suggestion. I am unable to download any texture packs using the launcher. I click the button and the notice pops up that it is DLing but it instantly disappears and no download takes place. Running Windows 7 and have no other issues...

You have to use Tinker's Construct crafting. Only wood vanilla tool you can make is shovel, I think. That's because of the "Iguana's Tweaks" mod. Just trying this out myself and it makes the start of the game very difficult. There are some guides out there that can help...
