Starting off with IndustralCraft2 is good imo. It's not the mod you can do the most efficient things with, but it's a good introduction to modded MC. It's what I started with.

Not good enough to run monster becuase of the graphics card I think. And if you do buy it then choose Intel Core i3 at least.

I do like RF, but it's a shame the easiest way to store MJ is gone - the Energy Cell.

I'm on a server (a Monster 1.0.7 server), and we are getting HUGE lag. So I just wanted to ask if anybody else has been getting the same problem. I am not the admin so this thread doesn't go in server section, I don't think.

A laptop with an Intel Core i3, 4 GB of RAM and a halfway decent graphics card should be able to run monster perfectly. Just give it 2 GB of RAM.

IMO, it would be best if you could influence your enchant, but not completely pick the one you want. Kind of like Mystcraft (You can add items to get specific book traits, but there's not a 100% chance that you will get what you want). Also it should be done on an upgraded enchantment table so...

Why are the IC2 addons not used anymore after Ultimate. GregTech (not even on easy mode), Advanced Machines, Advanced Solar Panels, and GraviSuite are not used anymore. They were some of my favorite mods, and I manually added to the packs, and haven't had any problems. So yeah anybody know why...
