What do you guys even do with that much power...even a maxed out laser drill uses only ~20k in 1.7.10. I've never needed much more than that. The most I've ever used was 65000 per tic on a rf tools dimension full of yellorium spheres and that was just stored power since I never actually needed...

Not sure what mods are in that pack or if things have changed too much from 1.7.10 but if you've got magic bees mod and botania there used to be a flower that summoned bees for a rather large mana cost. However they pop out all over the place so need a collection method.

If you are playing in a BoP game then tropical hives can also be spawned in the rainforest biome.

Yup, that is exactly what happened to my first game. Got them disabled in the modules.cfg now. There was a bit of a lag logging back in and an expected "warning xxx blocks not found and will be removed" prompt prior to the aforementioned lag but working like a charm now! I can once again...

Does anyone know how to control or limit forestry butterfly spawns in 1.7.10? Recently had to give up on my modded world due to an overpopulation of butterflies (LAG!). I lived on a rather large island and although they did not seem to be able to make it across the ocean they pretty much came...

I love bees and have done them with forestry alone (up to imperial and industrious), only thing I don't like is the occasional server glitch that chucks my queens out of the automated hives (buildcraft pipes). It's been happening even when everything is in one chunk. Temporarily solved it...

I need my bees, so forestry wins for me. I actually tried to build a small mod-pack of just my favorite mods at one point...but it just kept growing as I missed so much stuff. Ended up giving up and just adding all my favorites and starting new.

Wasn't the drop of luck made in a kettle not the cauldron?? Maybe that was just regrowth /shrug.

Personally I got an easy alternative to an upgraded pick by having my stone tinkered pick level up to diamond addon which apart from giving it a ton of hp also leveled up it's mining lvl. That might warrant looking into as it skips the usual progression almost entirely.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to give the pack a try and too many of any one biome would probably drive me crazy. I've been playing a lot of regrowth lately and need somewhere to explore that's not an endless wasteland :) .

So do most play this with Biomes o plenty world or without? I know I always have problems finding enough bee hives in BoP maps...
