No expert at all, probably 0% experience with Java programming... but I think if you're new to programming of any sort, it's best to start with the basics of it... and you know, not go straight into making a mod for a game.

Personally, Sphax for me makes me feel like I'm writing a letter to a business company in Comic Sans. I don't struggle too hard to identify a block type or anything with the texture pack installed and online but it just makes me feel like an 8 year old when I use those textures.

Yeah I do use a muffler, but I'd still like a way to disable their sound in general, so I take it there isn't a way?

This is what I've wanted for so long, a modpack revolving around Bees. I feel like Bees are so unpopular due to how much time you need to spend on them to advance, honestly, I LOVE bees, so I guess that means I love this pack now.

Nice man, glad to see other people are doing this also. Though I have to agree with Rhn, from my personal perspective, having a straw or wooden roof for a "smithy" irks me a bit, but that's just me :P
