We are just repeating ourselves now so let's just end this :) Never wanted to make a huge debate out of it just wanted to correct you on the "No luck involved" statement. I'll agree with you that if a player put enough of time and of tries he'll eventually will gets it. Have a nice day :)

That is still dependant on the amounts of tries of said person. The only way that a probabilistic event is sure is if you have infinite of tries or if the event is degenerate. Where did you see me complain about philosophy. You seem to confuse using analogies with complaining. And in my...

Yes but are you guaranteed to get a fortune item in those 5 min ? No , therefore luck is involved. Of course winning at a lottery doesn't have the same statistical distribution as enchanting a fortune item but both are probabilities and therefore involve luck.

you made the assumption that you had infinite amount of experience which isn't true either. You only have infinite experience if you have infinite time. Same goes for money. As an exemple if you have 0 experience right now and I ask you to make 10000 enchants (which is far far less than...

You still need luck. You are still dealing with a statistical distribution and the fact that you can make several tries doesn't negate that. Saying that we don't need luck because we could theoricly gain infinite experience(only true if we were immortal human being) is like saying that you...

Oh and was wondering if needing to have a clone in each dimension was intended or a bug. Right now if you die in nether and have a clone in main world you are banned from server instead of respawning in clone.

Had that bug happenned to me and my friend quite often too. It seems to happen to us after a player die and respawn in its clone (playing on hardcore mode).

Yeah love those change to the steve cart quest line. One small suggestion though is to add either a quest node to make a cargo manager or to add it to the list of needed item for farmer and miner quests that way a new player using steve cart will have everything he need to setup is first system...

And food is not ? You can survive without wood but not without food. And by new player I don't mean someone that just just started but more in the sense of first playthrough and without knowledge of steve carts machines/carts. Anyway I'm done trying to give constructive critisism as you don't...

There is quite a big difference. I'm talking about the progression intra-mod not inter-mod. A more good anology was if you forced player to make a part builder before a stencil table or to force a player to make a chest before a furnace. And on a side note : Don't think I hate steve cart I...

If people always took the easiest route everyone would be playing creative and nobody would ever use steve cart in more conventionnal modpack but people still use it. And I'm not saying that you should have everything from the start just that you should have more than 1 option at a given time...

Yeah but if they one to actually complete and claim the reward for the quest they have to make a woodcutter and coal engine. You can't claim the reward for the farming one if you don't make the woodcutter first therefore forcing you to make the woodcutter if you ever want to get said reward. In...

I don't have the game opened right now but if I recall the farming cart isn't a prerequesite to the galdorian quest. I completly understand that the purpose of the quests is to familiarize with the mod but the way the quest are laid out right now it feel like you are forcing players into making...

1-I'm not having problem with wood like I said the wood-farm is just a exemple of the underlying problem which is the lack of choice in progression. 2-And on the arguments that if method A was included people would'nt ever use method B because method A is easier is just plain wrong. People...
