DW's packs are generally accepted as good, well rounded packs for everyone to play. I personally prefer something like Stoneblock that has a wide range of mods that span between simple and complex.

It is a plug in or client side mod of some sort. It isn't native to the pack I am sure.

Unfortunately server hunting is a fact of life. It is hard to find a stable server that has what you're looking for. I don't play your type of server, but my best suggestion is find something with 8/10 of the things you want and make due without the rest.

That processor is perfectly fine. You will experience no problems with the heaviest modded packs as long as you can devote 6-9gb ram to MC.

You are using way too much ram. 2-4gb for 1.7 packs, 6-8gb for newer packs.

Try commands like /island spawn /island home /island join /tpa name /tpahere. The commands are always a little different for me because I play on public servers, so I'm not sure which one is right.

MOAR STAIRS!!!! Every single core building block should be able to be made into stairs. Dirt stairs, glass stairs, ice stairs, stairs made from ore picked up by silk touch (iron ore stairs), copper stairs, emerald stairs, etc etc etc etc you get the idea. At the very least, please add dirt stairs.
