Knockback is handy against creepers, but that's usually about it. Any other mobs and it's just annoying :/

Just out of curiosity, Gideon, is dying supposed to rob you of all effects? I noticed that after you die you get the "Soul Fray" effect. What's that about?

Woooow, I just updated today and the spam is /insane/! Also, in my Single-player world it spams the console and the lag is so intense I can't even play... In 1.1.5 it worked fine.
