Isn't gravel dropping flint disabled? At least, it appears to be- I can't seem to get any flint from it. Edit: I cheated myself some flint, because imo that's a bit silly.

I believe the Igneous extruder causes crashes. I've had it happen twice- It can be resolved with Forge's option to remove erroring tile entities, but that also removes the extruder. I can provide a crash report if necessary. Is there another automated option for getting obsidian? Edit...

I can no longer connect to the IRC. When I go into the options, WLR is listed, but nothing happens when I select to connect to it. Edit: Resolved itself.

Guess what time it is! Crash log time! This was after a tile entity error that caused a crash before I updated to 1.1.5, but when I had the Forge config set to delete erroring tile entities. Edit: Screw it, restoring from backup.
