You should try ender quarry.. They fill in the hole wit dirt when it takes things out.. Or you can have a hole. You also have the ability for fortune and silk touch and speed upgrades.. I used to use bc quarry and when I got back into mc they were on 1.7.10 so I tried the ender quarry it is...
