All the FTB team needs to do is drag a few files into a folder, update the configs, and BAM! the pack is updated for literally everyone playing it. Problem solved! Also when you volunteer yourself to do something then you take on the responsibility to do that job. So yes, it is their job.

Did you ever figure this out? I did a quick run through of a few of the mods I was unfamiliar with and couldn't find it. I would love to be able to disable that as its really frustrating especially in a skyblock environment.
