SSP V SMP on Home Computer

Not really, unless you want others to join in. If you have a spare machine you're much better off setting up a server on that and connect over your LAN. That's where you can really see the benefit, because it offloads some of the heavy lifting to the server.

    DW20 1.7 - TC Early weapon ideas?

I make a point of modifying with either a leadstone or hardened energy cell on anything that will take it as well. It eliminates the need to use resources on repairs. Carry around a flux capacitor and you can go for a very, very long time between charges.

    Hard-coded key bindings?

Yup, some kind of centralized keybind management would be ideal. Even a basic import/export feature would be good. It really does suck to have to go through that process for each and every pack. With the release of the DW20 pack, I decided to dig into the issue a little more because I'm still...

    Hard-coded key bindings?

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I dug through all the ones I could find, but no luck. I personally find that kind of behavior to be rather inconsiderate to the user. My rule of thumb is if something confuses or causes problems for the user for any reason, it's a bug and needs to be fixed. Maybe...

    Hard-coded key bindings?

I've been digging around quite a bit, but it's really difficult to search because I'm looking for the letter C. I've been using the C key for sneak (crouch) in every game I've ever played that has a crouch feature. It appears that there's a mod in many of the 1.7.10-based packs that...

FTB fail after Windows 8.1 upgrade

Got it working! I took a closer look at exactly what driver was being installed by the Catalyst installer, and Windows decided that nope, this one here driver is the latest, and screw you if you think you're going to install anything else. There was no warning of this from the installer aside...

FTB fail after Windows 8.1 upgrade

Thanks for the really quick response. The driver was from AMD, but just to be sure I installed the latest stable version from their site. Still no luck. The only instance of any lwjgl file on my system is in the FTB\<modpack>\Natives folders, created with this install. I've tried a few...

More news about FTB's Future. (Important announcement)

As long as the mod authors are fine with it, I'm fine with it. You guys deserve some compensation for all the hard work you're putting in. Opening the store up to the mod authors as a place to sell some swag is a nice touch, and makes it much easier for us to send a few bucks their way.

    News update 12-02-13

Every single update to FTB has made me happy, and I expect the same with version 2. Huge thanks to the team for their hard work. I have only one wish for the new launcher, and that is to allow us to resize the window. If that's not in the cards, at the very least provide a horizontal scroll...
