So far at least that seems to be helping (at least it worked once), i guess i remember a similar problem back with FTB and my curse folder is in a different place so it wasn't included in that exception.

My first time dimension was also eternal night, though my glowstone worked fine, what is your brightness set to? I restarted and added a lucky bright night dimlet so my new world is basically eternal day. I know ender zoo does the pitch black night, can't remember if that's in the pack.

I'm getting a similar issue where if all the slots of my inventory are full sometimes i can't pick up certain items like torches that i already have a partial stack of, doesn't matter how big that stack is. But if i open up a slot, then i pick it up and it stacks just fine.
