Thanks for all the help guys! Is there any special Java parameters that would help me out as well? TO be honest I think its Windows 10 that is affecting me the most.
hmm. Mental note, keep ignoring windows-10 notifications ( I think I actually disabled it in the registry, but point stands)

Ok so far I have added optifine, lowered allocated ram to 4, and I actually did go out and buy a new graphics card (gtx 970, not related to ftb but I needed an upgrade), and changed the parameters.

So far, once I leave the game running for like 3 minutes in a world my standard fps is like 30-40, and then once I start walking out and loading more chunks/new chunks it starts lagging and I get like 1-15 fps. But I don't think there is anything else I can do unless someone has experienced this in windows 10 before. But thanks for all the help!

Is this true in a new world, or an existing world?

I find my infitech worlds start to lose FPS drastically due to some mods/machines just really not playing nice. I've never been able to satisfactorily nail down which machines are the worst offenders.

Yes its newly generated world. On that same note, I walked into a mesa plateau and my fps skyrocketed, from 60-80 fps. So now I'm starting to think it was just biome specific, because I was in a Magical Forest before. I'm going to keep exploring and try to investigate what is going on.

It might be the leaves - I've got a pretty decent setup, but I often have to switch from 'fancy' to 'fast' graphics (it makes the leaves opaque) in any biome with a lot of leafy trees. Just a thought.

I already had my settings set to fast. as well as some other optifine settings to give me the most fps. Flying around and generating more chunks did seem to be steady, never dropping from 40, but flying back to the magical forest did seem to drop it. I'm about to generate a new world and see if I experience the same thing.

What about extracells in next version? looks like dupe are fixed now.
https://github.com/Beyond-Reality/BeyondRealityModPack/issues/286
Unfortunately its not loading with Trajectory mod (core mod for Framez2) by @amadornes (already reported, because I wanted to add it few days ago - https://github.com/amadornes/Trajectory/issues/3). So until that is fixed...

From my personal experience I am getting lower FPS in magical forests than everywhere else (not only in InfiTech 2, but also for example in Resonant Rise)

There's a lot of sparkly business going on in M.F biomes. I wonder if turning down particle effects would help.

Yep turned down all particle effects and it did seem to help, but just a little bit. Regarding generating a new world, it loaded up much faster and it does seem that my fps drops (1-15fps) did seem to revolve around M.F. biomes. Also flew over a few biomes that were populated heavily with trees and fps did seem to drop, although not as much as when in a MF. But now that I know what caused my fps to be horrible, I can play better now :) Again thanks for all the help!

https://github.com/Beyond-Reality/BeyondRealityModPack/issues/286

https://github.com/ExtraCells/ExtraCells2/issues/222

(given the link, you can decide for yourself if the problems are problems)

But there is also this duplication bug in it -> https://github.com/ExtraCells/ExtraCells2/issues/249
and that dupe bug https://github.com/ExtraCells/ExtraCells2/issues/236
and apparently this dupe bug https://github.com/ExtraCells/ExtraCells2/issues/110
and this https://github.com/ExtraCells/ExtraCells2/issues/253

its not often that you find a mod with 5 different duplication bugs...

Extra Cells duplication bugs: 2/6 fixed

@SpwnX, see above and correct me if I'm wrong.

My understanding is that it will output 2A. According to the wiki, it will attempt to produce "up to" 4A.

http://ftb.gamepedia.com/Transformer_(GregTech)
It will output the amount of Amperes the network require, up to 4A.
That means if you only have something that can only accept up to 2A (multiblock energy hatches f.e) the transformer will output only 2A.
Now how many Amperes each machine will ask for and the total load is dependant on the machine type and how filled is the internal storage. Its a complicated mess, better control the Amperage by the source

I knew about this app, but I was more comfortable tweaking my registry (and redoing it as necessary) than installing weird apps from the internets :p

Fair enough. I use it myself on my VMs and haven't noticed any weirdness; not that I have done a proper audit though...

I have recently had to dig into this issue cause of family and ran into that program so I thought I would pass it along for others. I use linux myself and completely avoid all this drama :)

Honestly I would love to have it as well... But as I said it conflicts with Trajectory mod, so its either EC or Framez, and I like Framez more :)
