I now got this working.
MFR Treefarm --> Charcoal --> Steam (5x MFR Boiler) --> 21k RF/t in a 16x9x9 Turbine. And I still got extra charcoal.

Now I just reread the thread and I saw you guys are also using Big Reactor Reactors to power the turbines. But you still have to get a steady income of Yellorite aren´t you?

Correct, I use the power from my two max-size turbines (approx 50K RF/t) to run an Ender Quarry with the top speed upgrade on it. My 3x7x9 (outside) reactor uses about a stack of Yellorium ingots per hour (roughly, could be 2 hours to use a stack) but my quarry gives me about 100 stacks in that time frame (after doubling the ore blocks using TE pulverizer or similar). It's almost comical. I play on a server that uses a "Quarry World" dimension specifically for quarrying, so Yellorium is basically an infinite resource, you just have to do the work of placing/relocating the quarry all the time. I set my quarry up for something like 100x100 chunks at a time and let it run for 3 or 4 days. LOL Why not? :)

I find it more efficient to run a large number of smaller than max boilers than a handful of full size boilers and wait for them to fully heat up. Also, Fire Stones are the bomb for heating large RC boilers.
I also subscribe to this since its really rare for me to run a boiler fulltime.
Well, they will undoubtedly become more and more efficient with size. But the efficiency comes at the expense of the initial high cost. But I would strongly recommend against using boilers of any size if you plan on periodically stopping them for any reason.
If you have a constant power need with fuel to match: Boilers
If you don't: Dynamos or something similar and a control mechanism to turn the on and off on demand.

Also RF Boilers are cool and more real than the MFR ones. I highly recomend the MFR Boiler. It still needs some warming time but it does not explote, does not need as much coal as the others. and only 1 block big :)

You have machines at your disposal that I do not :)

Now that we don't have to build a fence for the ender quarry I will go several hundred blocks. I used to use the quarry plus marker laser to set it. I wish IO or someone would come up with an infinite marker laser.

If all you need is a line to follow, cant you just use the F9 overlay?
