Also you could just as easily run the LV transformers in a series with no redstone signals needed. They will pass along the packets from the previous LV transformer without affecting them.
This is what I normally do. LVT-->4 Copper Cables-->LVT, rinse and repeat until you get where you're going. Using two LVT's and a redstone signal to increase the distance works, but it's hardly cost effective. That method would require LVT-->LVT-->4 Copper Cables-->LVT-->LVT, or double the LVT's of the single LVT setup, and achieves the same thing. Simply point the LV end towards the MV end of the next LVT, and it works fine.
 
				
		 I usually do my main power storage in large scale, and then have a BatBox  near each of my machinery clusters. What you pay for MFSU's and MFE's is far more cost effective (IMO) than what you pay for an equally large number of BatBoxes, especially since GregTech allows Rubies and Sapphires to be used in the Energy/Lapotron Crystal recipes.
