Could we get the textures I listed HERE and the above thaumcraft textures added in? Zica said he would, but they were never added. I usually do it manually... But it would be fantastic if they were in by default.

Try2bcool, is not difficult to edit the textures yourself! If you can find the textures you want, just photoshop/MSpaint 'em into terrain.png. I actually happen to have custom terrain.png's, but probably not the exact one you are looking for. If you want to tell me exactly what you want, I might...
