I like to build factories. Yes, to make stuff, but that's not why I make them. I make them cause I want to. Nothing optimized, no super tight space that makes it difficult for me to change something, just a big factory.
Energy, on the other hand, does not relax me. I get all crazy when getting my first energy bits up. No, I don't want to waste materials, so the first thing I'm gonna build is a HP boiler. After one Steam Engine (or sterling if I'm feeling cheap)
Yeah, I want to have a jetpack factory. You never need more than 2, but why not have thousands? The problem would be charging them all.

Just figure out exactly how long it takes to charge one then set a timer to that long with something to pull it out.

I like looking at my automated stuff, especially the more complex ones. Once i have a well established base i just love following the stuff around to see it being processed. Even though i know damn well that it works it gives me great pleasure. This is also why i like to have all farms and stuff because then theres a lot to process.

Just the regular buildcraft gate. When it's next to a mfsu or similar it has an option "if done charging"

Same thing with me and the factories. If I ever get to the point of automating a Fusion reactor or something like that, I'd just follow it around all day :P
I can see myself chasing after a frame quarry, too.
