if you go into your mods folder you'll notice zan's minimap created a folder called VoxelMods.
go into that folder, find the .points file with your world name in it and open it in notepad or something similar
it'll show you all your waypoint names and their xyz

One would think they'd store it in the world file/Minecraft folder or at least the config folder.
pretty much this. it makes sense to just put it in the saves folder
but I guess they'd do it like this because you also need to store the waypoints of multiplayer servers... but hard to save the waypoints for servers in a save folder that doesn't exist
Mapwriter creates a save folder just for its waypoints/other data. No reason Voxelmap couldn't do that.
true, but if you want to know something that doesn't even make more sense... the waypoints of zan's are saved in the mods folder, of both your modded minecraft and the .minecraft in your appdata folder
very annoying if you often restart your world under the same name and want to get rid of your waypoints
