Sleep is annoying. If not having to sleep means I don't get sleep-deprived by staying awake endlessly (and, by extension, my brain would continue to work properly no matter how long I stay up and do stuff on the computer), I'll take that option.

Not at all! Completely different things - it would simply be a space containing no air or other molecules. As soon as you release it from your control though, it would make quite a bang as the air shot into the space "occupied" by the vacuum.

Would you rather not grow facial hair and not have to shave or be able to grow a beard but have to groom it/shave if you do not want one for a time ( like in summer when it is hot)?

Personally no facial hair, I could (and have) get a good starter beard in less than a week and I am very jealous of the guys in the class that go two weeks with growing anything.
