Title says the question post says the reason.
I'm here for, as usual, the betterment of my modpack. And to make things more difficult I decided to make the Railcraft recipe cost less, make Steel cost more, and make the Rock Crusher the only way to double your ores to make you really need to hold off until late game to get the most from your ores.
Simple reason is that I want choices to need to be made in my pack. Work first on making a large industry with your current amount of materials, or hold off until late game? Stuff like that. Seems a bit like a no-brainer, but it's easier to understand when you play the pack (Sadly, it's far from done)
So, I just found out that for whatever reason, coal cannot be ground down in one but charcoal can. So I'm now asking for some options to get around this without actually using the macerator or other single block structures.
And please no "Just make charcoal dust equal coal" unless it's the only option, because it already occured to me. Thanks!
