Now for some actual suggestions:
1. Animated teleportations
Yeah, I know, IC already has a teleport for players and creatures, Additionalpipes for items, but, to be honest, disappearing in a cloud of blue pixels or flowing into an opaque pipe is not that scenic, is it? So, how about being able to build special patterns of energy lines that open rifts in space-time teleporting you to another "portal" in the network depending on special codes or maybe chooseable by right-clicking like in Thaumcraft 2, or having some sort of machine where things can get pumped or dropped into, getting broken down in a short pulse of energy and information, traveling with higher speed at higher tier, wich can not be used by linked machines, but in a special materializer reconstructing the actual item. I imagine this transmission to be a sphere or a crystal-strucutured part traveling directly along the powerlines containing symbols of truth or a ghostly image of the item, maybe with some sparkly effects when traveling trough a core. The same effect might also apply to player teleport, a bit larger of course, whilst showing the player a picture of interdimensional space (end-sky to be lazy), and having some sort of nauseous effects for some seconds after rematerializing.
EDIT: So, did you mean something along these lines when saying iChun was lame? ^^
2. Multitool
So, you made something that is every Vanilla tool in one. Nice, really. But how about making something similar for mod tools, and by that I mean something to use on all machines, combining the two wrenches, the screwdriver and maybe the crowbar, even tough with that it might look kind of hillarious. With this the problem would rather be the permission from the original authors than the coding I think. Omnitools took that idea.
3. More realistic creation of Xychrodite ingots
So, how about breaking down the crystals, first by pulverizing, later on by dissolving or something like that (more effective), crafting it with some metal to get powdered/solution covered ingots, which then can be smelted, forming the respective alloy, and tadaa, finished.
4. Defensive core
Nice and simple, a core building up a temporary line to an entity specified in the gui and shooting energy pellets at it.
5. Invisibility upgrade/off switch
Sure, energy lines look awesome, however, if I built a powergrid in my house it would kind of get on my nerves after a while, especially when it is high energy. So, maybe something making the energylines invisible? Also, how about adding the option to shutdown the energy line without putting blocks in the way, maybe an Interruptor wich clears all lines in variable proximity on redstone signal?
*takes deep breath*
