Hey everyone!
So after trying to form a multi-tank in my tank's room I've run into a problem, when I click on the valve, the tank will not form, and I'm not sure why :(
I have a screenshot so take a look and try to spot anything that prevents the tank from forming! Thanks :D

I do not believe you can put the valve on a corner or edge, you may also want to check if cobblestone is a valid material for the tank walls.

  1. Check the whole frame is stone blocks and isn't missing any
  2. Max size is 12x12x12 (your seems to be 13?)
  3. there musn't be anything inside
I also don't think that you can have the walve there.

I'm betting you're missing a corner block or have a corner block that's dirt/sand/gravel.

Either that or valves can't actually be on the edges of a multitank (at least I'm pretty sure they can't, might be wrong on that).

Just checked and the tank seemed to be 13x10 so thanks for that Poppycocks!
Also, there was some gravel and dirt around the edges. However, I moved the valve as soon as I created the thread as I saw the mistake myself.
Anyway, the tank just formed and now is working, thanks guys! :')

Yeah man, you wouldn't believe what hell I went trough to build my big liquid ender and redstone tanks. Then I realized I made 'em 16 high or so.

I'm pretty sure when I was making my lava storage tank I rebuilt it several times before figuring out that there was dirt, it was too large and I misplaced my valve.

From now on, I just a filler to smash the whole place up and then build a wall from a material of my choice.

Yeah I did the same thing I made a tank that was 20x5x20 and was scratching my head the whole time wondering why it wasn't working since it was only 5 blocks high... It took forever for it to hit me that it was too wide lmao. It would be awesome if he made it so that there were no limits and you could build it as big as you want.

It'd be really nice if when a tank fails to form the tank could give some indication of which check it made failed. Like maybe it could trace itself trying to form the tank with that same sci-fi pattern on the walls which would blink red when it fails to form.
