XP Turtles and Auto Collecting

Hey guys, first of all sorry for not using the new site, i don`t really understand how to use it. Ahywho, onto my problem. I need a very basic program for my XP turtle to collect all the XP around it, (I know about the need of (nameofperipheral)=peripheral.wrap, etc...), but not only that. I do not need an outo enchanting system, but I would thoroughly enjoy a way of accessing the turtle, and just asking for x amount of levels. Does anybody know of a way to do that?

If you check out episode 45 of direwolf20's season 5 let's play here he does this although with auto enchanting but you could always edit the code and remove the enchanting part. I would also suggest asking in the computer craft forums for any additional help.
He puts the code onto pastebin around the 9:14 mark in the video if you are interested.

As far as I know you can only use the XP collected by turtles to enchant items & books. At least in the DW20 pack. Not sure if this might have changed with some of the new packs.
