I have a complicated system that takes a percentage of my iron income and turns it into dark iron ingots and then turns those ingots into products, like interdimensional barrel storage upgrades. However, I noticed my machine was continuing to receive iron blocks, and no matter how many times the iron blocks went through the cycle they didn't turn to dark iron blocks. I looked inside, and I didn't see anything. No wrath fire, nothing. I just lighted it a few minutes ago after putting it out, and it's already gone?
I have a full nether brick wrath oven, with two nether bricks missing (I replaced one with a block breaker and the other with a deployer). I'm not placing the iron blocks ontop of the wrath fire, so I have no idea why my fires keep going out. I would rather not make the system more complicated by adding a detector for wrath fires and a system to automatically craft wrath igniters and light them.

Help?

Thread moved due to not a problem with launcher nor your computer.

Also please don't bump your thread. We may class that as spam.
As this was a bump due to time zone. I will let it slide.

Can you please post an image of this system you have setup? this may show others what you are trying to do and may result you getting more help.

Thanks.

How often does your system place an iron block into the furnace?

If you watch the flames in the furnace, you can see that they weaken a little bit with each use, but will slowly climb back up to full strength.

In a previous thread, someone had a number that they tossed out (dunno..12?) about how many uses a furnace had before the fire went out, and I suggested that it might be the number of times it'll turn a block before going out without a reheat period.

tl;dr...Try slowing down your system and see if that helps.

There's a reheat period? Huh, I guess I'll have to increase the sleep() time on my turtles then...

Did you use any sort of delay in your code

[...]

And to doubly confirm, I had a turtle put a delay of ten seconds per block, and I'm still getting thirty-six blocks per wrath flame. The design of my wrath forge is two solid nine by nine layers of nether brick, and then a nine by nine layer in the middle with a hole in the side for my turtle to look into the system.

I am not really sure why I am seeing a difference, except that my tests were all done on single player versus these being done on my server, which should not make a difference. Can anyone else confirm if they are able to have a stable return on dark iron?
I never did get an answer to that question.

Ah, okay. I'll not worry about it then, and just keep a deployer stocked with wrath igniters. :p

Yeah, I've yet to find a way to change it so it does not burn out. I believe it was part of the recent update, but I am not sure, nor have I taken the time to research that as I very rarely use my wrath forge.
