Would it be possible to put EVERY mod in a single modpack?

Would you play on a modpack that has every mod?

I just thought of this.
Considering the amount of usable item IDs that we have with Forge, and the amount of diffrent mods in all the modpacks, would it be possible to combine the Ultimate pack with Ampz/Voltz/UE/whatever, the Voxelbox pack, and some other modpacks out there to make a pack of 300+ mods?
The lag from searching for an item's uses would be unbearable (Waiting 5 minutes for the game to search every single item for it's recipe), but the content would be awesome.
Of course, if one mod is incompatible you're screwed, and the amount of item IDs you would need to correct would make you bored out of your mind and not even want to use the modpack.

I'm not taking into consideration the dates of the modpacks (Tekkit & a 1.5 modpack), by the way.

Well, if you're not talking about Plus+, and if we had all the permissions, and Better With Forge wasn't in it, of course!

I don't know if Forge would have enough ID's to avoid conflicts with that amount of mods. World gen would be a mess, if you were to include multiple mods that mess with terrain generation. Millénaire + Thaumcraft + Ars Magica + Vanilla world gen is already crowded, imagine when you start adding 20, 30 more generated structures to the game? That's not to talk about ore gen. It would be a mess. Not every mod uses the forge dictionary, you know? That would make it a pain to make world gen play nice with ores, not to talk about lag. I don't know if it would even LOAD.

So, no, i'd never play in such a mess. Balance would be all over the place too.

I'm sure many a nine year-old has done it before, waiting a day for the game to start. Unless Optifine is installed, it'd take a week.

That would be.... impractical to say the least. And, no I would not. I've found that too much content is distracting, trying to settle down and do one ting get s to be hard when you have too many choices.

Whats the deal with the huge amount of pols lately?
I wont play on a server with all the mods since it would take 2 days just to start the game, and don't get me started on the update process every time Mojang decides to change the code.

An uber-modpack is one of those ideas that's better in theory than it would be in practice. I suspect most people will agree that adding a few mods you like to FTB is better than trying to develop a pack that contains all mods from everywhere.

Nah, it can never be too crowded :)

I wait till the day where I get a modpack that has every village world gen mod possible so I can just walk a few blocks and find a village that takes up the entire map, and in it all there's only 1 vanilla building still standing.
