It's all world. It include Twilight, Nether and and the end, not just mystcraft. A lot of SMP servers also uses the mystcraft worlds available, for example. I have building and mining world. My players would like me deleting them.

Recently I added a auto restart which I find helps keep the issue at bay. Current on twice daily restarts, but for busier servers I would recommend 4 times a day.

anchors still a good solution.

Is it possible to have a world leak without visiting any other dimensions? My logs on my server(in which I am in just the overworld) indicate that it may have detected 5 occurences of a world leak. I play for about 20 mins and a get massive lag and then an "end of stream" or "read timed out." Is this perhaps a world leak, if not, does anyone know anything about this? My server never did this until I updated to forge 965

Very possible. It might not be Forge though. What other mods did you update?

I downloaded the latest dw20 pack and added Witchery and blood magic. The leaks occurred before I added Blood magic so I think it's Witchery. I put a spot loader in all dimensions that my server "unloaded" and I have no world leaks but the symptoms still occur.

I see the leak messages with dw20 pack when the ender quarry in the Deep Dark is running. And on my server Witchery is not yet installed since we're still on version 1.0.19 of dw20 pack.
I will try the spot loader fix too.

EDIT: Ok, should have verified that it's the ender quarry and seems it isn't the cause. Even if switched off, every 40 seconds a new leak messages is logged. Am i correct that the hex number in the messages identifies a certain chunk? And if so, how can i find out in game which chunk is leaking? At moment there seem to be two chunks leaking on our server.

Having this problem now, in May 2015 :( Had a 1.3.4 world; copied it to my 1.5.1 directory and added the missing files (portal gun stuff, etc.) back in. Had to reboot after just a few hours of use :( Dedicated Ubuntu box for the server. and the 1.3.4 world was practically new - we'd built a spawn base and a single Twilight Forest portal and a small base on the TF side. No houses, not much else other than placing a bunch of torches and some other blocks for decoration/lighting.

Could too many mobs within the spawn area be causing the problem? When we were creating spawn, we threw a whole bunch of villagers, enderminys, iron golems, and mooshrooms around. Some have since wandered off but many are still in the immediate vicinity.
