Hello. I am attempting to make a 3x3 door using drawbridges. I am having some difficulties setting up the wiring for it. I will include some screenshots of the door aswell as the wiring setup I attempted. Also if you find a correct wiring is there a way to slow down the speed of which the doors come back up?

1st, move your pressure plates out from the door by 1 block if your middle section isn't opening. You can use the PR timer or a couple vanilla repeaters to add in a delay, but I'd have to fiddle with it in creative to work out the right place to put it. I think it will be simpler with repeaters, so try 2 repeaters set to 4 ticks delay between the pressure plate & the inverter. I haven't looked at them yet, but I think the PR repeaters act the same way the vanilla ones do, but gives you a much greater range to work with.

I have the same drawbridge door system. The simplest way I found was just to power the drawbridge from a togglelatch and wire the pressure plates from each side into it. Walk across the plate on one side and it opens, walk across the other side and it closes. Come back walk across a pressure plate and it opens walk across the pressure plate on the other side and it closes.

This way you don't get the door closing on you prematurely because of lag or staying open longer than necessary potentially letting anything following you to come in as well (I'm looking at you baby zombie).

I haven't really had to do much with redstone circuits since I stopped playing vanilla, so I haven't looked at all the PR parts yet. It's good to hear a variety of solutions to the same problem.
