Will ftb infinity lite world transfer over to inf beyond?

Will a ftb infinity lite world transfer over to infinity beyond modpack? Once it's available ofc.

Likely not. The changes to Minecraft between versions has been pretty substantial. Most mods are OK moving from 1.8 forward with a few changes, but the 1.7->1.8 jump completely breaks things.

Between infinity lite and infinity beyond might be possible as they're both 1.10.2. But modlist may pose a problem

Dammit. I read that completely as asking if Infinity Evolved would carry over, rather than Infinity Lite. Yet another confusion created by keeping the same moniker over different versions. I maintain my opinion that this was a bad choice.

So far as Infinity Lite is concerned, the mod lists will indeed dictate what will work and what won't. If you can match up the mods closely enough, it might be possible. That said, expect issues to happen, and be prepared to scrap it and move on if necessary.
