Why isn't this pump working?

It worked just fine for a few hours then randomly stopped. It's getting energy from a redstone energy cell, and there's plenty of lava under it, what's wrong here? I've also tried breaking it and putting it back down, but it refuses to work.

It only pumps lava sources, not flowing lava. What you've got left looks like a lot, but it's unpumpable, move your pump somewhere else.

is there any way to change it so it will still pump if there is flowing lava above source blocks?

No because then you could have infinite lava from a single bucket of lava. I hope you see why that'd be bad.

Gregtech advanced pump also removes flowing lava, this helps remove the confusion.

EDIT: Oh I didn't read that right, it does already pump the source blocks even if theres flowing lava above 'em, otherwise you wouldn't get such a big hole in the lava in the first place. Your problem is that you don't have source blocks left under the pump.

and just for an added fyi: redpower pump will pull any source blocks that are connected to any of the flowing blocks, so pull from a much wider radius
