So the best way to afk is in a BoP spring water puddle for hunger, above a sewer while squatting and surrounded by explorer bees?

Or would one be better off standing on a LXP absorber going into a GT magic energy (converter/absorber, not sure which one)?

Ie would it be mor eprofitable to stand on a sewer and use fertarliser in a tree farm, or burn liquid XP in a generator directly?

Ruby is plentiful when red power is installed. Step into current modded minecraft (1.5.x) and theyre far more rare than diamonds.

And I hate being stuck in my base crafting just to get another damn machine so that I can craft to get another damn machine. At least with a gravichest plate there's fun to be had at the end if the tedious crafting
What? More rare than diamonds? They spawn all over the place! I think it might be biome dependant, but our base is in a desert and it's literally everywhere! Plus they seem to get the higher benefit of fortune pickaxes, often dropping like 6 rubys from one ore.[DOUBLEPOST=1371770246][/DOUBLEPOST]
Squat over one. You make a LOT of sewage. More than 2 cows.
Yeah steve's been holding in since the alpha releases! There's a lot built up in there!

You on 1.4.7?

If so , that's RP2 rubies, not GT rubies you are seeing.
Ore-dictionary compatible, but FAR higher spawn rates than GT rubies/iron.
Also, they don't spawn only in hot biomes, as GT rubies do.

I was going to say I don't care how much things cost. Then I tried to make something today that requires emeralds. Emeralds! Hell, chrome and iridium are easier get than emeralds. Yes, I can trade with villagers, but that means leaving my base, and you can't have me doing that, right?

(It was a vacuum freezer, which requires the highest tier of casing, which needs 8 emeralds for 4 casings).

And I really don't get why people complain about chrome. It's made from ruby dust, which is very plentiful.

Inter Dimensional Energy Storage Unit. That's all.

137 iridium isn't all that bad. That's 15 stacks of uu matter. On my old world, I had 80 stacks of UU before we reset the world and was making, I believe, 7 stacks a day. Never needed an IDSU, but I easily could have built one.

I've got plenty of irridium but the process of turning it into irridium plates (which should really be called irridium alloy plates since they're made from irridium alloy, and there's already plain irridium plates which are not useful on their own) is a bit tiresome. First there's the obtaining of large amounts of sand and gunpowder and dropping them in the assembly machine for TNT (cheaper than direct crafting) then pulverizing lots and lots of flint for tiny piles of flint dust and then crafting them into flint dust and putting it in the assembly machine with TNT for iTNT, and then putting lots of iTNT and diamond dust in the implosion compressor to make industrial diamonds (at least I've got plenty of diamond dust!) and then putting and industrial diamond, 4 irridium plates, and 4 advanced alloy plates (which of course take a good deal of bending and compressing to make) in the railcraft roller to get the irridum alloy which of course goes back in the implosion compressor with yet more iTNT :D
It seems that the sheer amount of iTNT needed means I have a lot of irridium lying around waiting to be turned into something useful. Though I guess once we set up production of magic energy absorbers for the End, we'll put more automation on the machines.

It's kind of weird when you think about it. Before, I could explain to my friend, "Oh, it's a collection of Minecraft mods that let you automate stuff like tree chopping and item storage so it's easier to get building materials and stuff."... Now it's much harder. Now I say, "So there's a lot of mods, except most of them are just clutter and can't be used because there's another mod that is for some reason defaulted to being on, even in singleplayer, and the goal is to get machines from that mod so you can get more stuff to make more machines. And vanilla objectives like creativity and building are completely separate and you can do that on your own time".

I was thinking about magic mods though.. Like, magic mods and portal gun and that fun stuff are okay as objectives. They give you something to work towards other than building. And they give you goodies that make the experience fun and enjoyable. :D

I recently got into ThaumCraft, and it is so fun! I started it a while ago but never got farther than gold transmutation, and alementum. I just recently continued on the server I use for my modded lets play and have made Thaumaturges Robe, tin and iron transmutation, nitor, and magical building blocks. The only thing I ask for ThaumCraft is more ways to customize how you play with it. Every time you use it it is the same thing "put stuff here, click away". But whatever, it's awesome. I'm needing to get into Ars Magica soon, because, you know, IT'S GOT SPELLS AND SHIT.

Shit. You need MFR for shit. It was a joke.
Oh, I get it now. I feel like a dumbass. Most of the elves don't talk much, and when they do it's just something stupid about how what they call "slave labor" is "illegal". I tend to just ignore it. Mrs. Clause is a cunt, so I try to not talk to her much. XD

Agreed.
MFR is one of those mods that encompasses many requested features in addition to those sprung directly from the mind of the great PowerCrystals.
It has many, many features, and provides a lot more options than one normally would have.

It has a LOT of compatability - full support for natura in the planter/harvester, etc. doesn't yet have additionally support for BoP in regards to this, but is compatible.

It's rednet is one of the things most talked about in the absence of RP2 logic. (There is now Immibis RP2 style ie tiled logic I guess - both have their times and places for use.)

Overall, it's a fantastic mod, which, if it isn't in the pack you play, you either move packs or get it added - I highly recommend it.
