It snuck up behind me and used a blackjack, then rifled through my pockets for loose attention.1.5.1 already has hit. Depending on your comp you will either get better performance or the same as 1.4.7

Actually, I disagree.
I understand the sentiment.Actually, I disagree.
It's up to the FTB team. RP2 doesn't have to be included if Eloraam can't keep pace with the rest of the mod makers. If she doesn't have an update out by May, I'd seriously say drop the mod. It would mean that she'd only had a single update over the course of a year. That's not often enough to be considered a worthwhile mod for a modpack.
The context of BanzaiBlitz's post is reference's Eloraam's mod, not the FTB pack, so I'm not entirely sure why your disagreement was something you'd consider warranted here. Can you explain?
Whether anyone feels this is acceptable or foolish does not really matter in the end
And? I swear people think life doesn't happen and the mod makers just sit in some cave banging out code.
Tony Stark was able to mod it in a cave! With a box of scraps! And? I swear people think life doesn't happen and the mod makers just sit in some cave banging out code.
Yeah, but that was before greg nerfed scrap.Tony Stark was able to mod it in a cave! With a box of scraps!
In the version currently in Ultimate (which isn't the latest version available) new ages are generated wrong, but deleting the age and entering again fixes it (if I remember rightly. Haven't tried it yet myself.)What's the Mystcraft bug everyone's talking about?
And that PAX shindig is over too, right? (at least, that's what my latest email from thinkgeek said)Also, there's a highly severe crashing issue that seems to be tied to the same bug.
It's Monday again. Surely there's been enough time to test it now? It's been out thirteen days...
Randomly deleting aura nodes is routinely a Thaumcraft problem (which is why he's seriously considering doing away with invisible non-block nodes in 3.1), though if there's a problem with Mystcraft triggering the bug, there's a chance the latest update may have improved the issue. Maybe.Ah, so not the annoying bit where generating new ages randomly deletes Thaumcraft aura nodes then.
Have you considered creating a multimc instance and uploading it to a dropbox or something? I deal with this problem by using multimc. You can use FTB as the base and still use their base files. Your friends will just need to use multimc instead of the FTB launcher. This way you can maintain control over the mod pack and make it much easier for your friends to play. But even that I had to help some of my friends with by holding their hand through the process. In all honesty the real solution would be custom private mod packs but FTB seems to be reluctant to implement that feature. It's been out 21 days now. Any news?
It's already active. It was used for the beta version of the ultimate pack prior to it's release.Have you considered creating a multimc instance and uploading it to a dropbox or something? It can't be used to create a better-maintained version of FTB, since the FTB team prevents certain mods (such as Redpower 2) from ever being added to those private mod packs, as those mod authors are uncommunicative or dead, and you need "permission" to download free stuff from the internet. It's already active.
