Honestly, I use each in their own situations.
XBXL I like for tech based packs, it has a nice industrial feeling. For me, it goes week with gregtech and other tech mods. (Except TE, It has more of a BOP feel)
BOP has more of a fantasy feel to it. I use it with fun fantasy mods. ( metallurgy, ect)
Highlands is nice for your generalized packs. It doesn't have a distinct feel, so it works in big packs
ATG has a nice ah, shall we say connected feel. It feels most like the real world IMO.
Cavers world is really nice, but no forge.
New dawn I haven't tried.
Big trees is badass. I put it in almost all my packs if I can.
