Wasn't there a second mod that did the same thing as flat bedrock?Nether Ores is updated. Sadly Flat Bedrock isn't.

...MFR, Thaumcraft, Tinkers, Factorization, Gtech and got it working ...
Running all of those on 1.6.4 sans Gtech, unless you consider IC2 exp to be "Gtech-Lite", heh. Here are my versions of those:
PowerCrystalsCore-1.1.8-7.jar
MineFactoryReloaded-2.7.0RC1-9.jar
Thaumcraft4.0.1.zip
ThaumicTinkerer 2.0-19.jar
Factorization-0.8.04beta17.jar
So far, so good ! No crashes since I switched to 1.6.4 last week and I swear the memory is far less leaky than FTB 1.5.2 . Not sure if that's 1.6.x MC, the mods I'm not using yet, improvements in the mods I am using, or all the above.
The mobs certainly seem to swarm like crazy on 1.6 though, but that's not always a bad thing. I see leader boards on some servers for the most deaths now.
I seem to be loosing hunger like crazy though, I'm not sure if that's due to a mod like Tcon or if thats just vanilla 1.6
Vanilla changed it so hunger points are used in healing. Since there's more combat now you use a lot more hunger points in fighting and in healingI believe the two may be related. If I'm just tooling around my base, I hardly need to eat. However, as soon as I'm out at night fending for my life, my food need goes way up. Fighting (combat) I believe has always pushed hunger need way up and with the swarming mobs in 1.6.x, increased combat directly translates to increased need for food.
Infinibows is updated - CovertJaguar is using that in his Dark Tower series.if Forge Backup, Infinibows and MATmos gets updated, I'm going to add those aswell to my modlist
also forgot to mention that sadly there's a few problems between Optifine and Carpenter's Blocks, but Carpenter's Blocks is a really nice decorative mod, so I don't want to remove it.
same thing with WAILA and Thaumcraft 4, has a few bugs, but don't want to remove any of them

Plus, it allows a new balancing mechanic that people can use. Since health is no longer "free," the amount of damage that you are inflicted can be used in a few interesting ways. I know my mod, Blood Magic, is the first to use this as a mechanic, but I'm sure that more will follow in some form or another. That explains so much, makes early game scouting for a place to call home a bit of a nightmare though.
The challenge is a nice change of pace on a server with no tech suits though. Really makes you fear night time again.

Also have any of you guys seen the new idConflicts file? And if so, is it from Forge?
Does anyone have the link to the spreadsheet with the updated 1.6.2 mods? I remember seeing it a month ago, but simply cant find it any longer.
edit: doh. nevermind. found this http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/ftb-mod-updates-to-1-6-2.31434/
Just wondering, have any of you guys tried using MultiMC 5 with these packs? I have tried using the standard launcher, but I much prefer MultiMC. Also have any of you guys seen the new idConflicts file? And if so, is it from Forge?
