We proudly present the very first alpha release of “Wizards of Lua”.

The Wizards of Lua is a Minecraft modification that simply adds the /lua command to the game.

By installing the ‘Wizards of Lua’ mod onto your Minecraft server, you are changing the nature of your Minecraft game: it becomes magical in a wordly sense. This mod transforms Lua, the programming language, into a ‘lingua magica’, a language of magic, that wizards can use to create and cast powerful spells to control almost any aspect of the world. Read more…

If you are interested into this mod at this early stage, please feel free to download and install it. Make sure to read the introduction in order to get some hints about how to use this mod.

Download Links are on the Curse project site.

If you have some feedback or a self-made spell you want to share with us please post it on the forum thread for the alpha release. For bug reports please use our issue tracker at GitHub.

Since the current versions of Tinkers Tool Leveling skip over Projectile based weapons, I made this mod to extend the experience mechanism provided by Tinkers Tool Leveling to cover them. This mod will allow shortbows, crossbows, and longbows from Tinkers' Construct to earn experience in the same fashion as their melee weapon counterparts - you gain experience on both the arrow/bolt and the Launcher.

Currently only works with minecraft forge 1.10.2 and Tinkers' Tool leveling 1.0.1.

It currently adds a new pipe type that can teleport items from a sender pipe to a receiver pipe.

In order for the teleport to work both sender and receiver pipes must be painted in the same color (non-painted pipes will do nothing).

Planned Features:

- filter pipes by owner as well as colour

- make the fluid teleportation pipe work (requires api changes in BC)

- add power consumption to pipes so they work only if powered with a considerable amount of MJ

Requires:

Forgelin - Kotlin adapter

RetroComputers adds programmable computers that are very similar to RedPower 2's computers. The mod adds these blocks/items:

  • Computer: The main block that controls all!
  • Terminal: You do want to see what your computer is doing, right? (Also, it has a cool CRT effect I'm really proud of)
  • Disk Drive: The way to load the operating system or additional programs.
  • Backplane/Memory Expansion: When your computer runs out of its builtin 8KB of memory, you can add up to 56KB additional memory. Every Memory Expansion can hold an additional 8KB of memory.
  • Analog Redstone Port: You can output redstone signals through this block. (duh)
  • Wireless Transceiver: Allows you to send data wirelessly between computers.
  • Retinal Scanner: Using technology from the Black Mesa Research Facility, you can scan players who use it and grant access to doors or whatever you want to do with it, really!
  • Ribbon Cable: With this, you can connect peripherals together.
  • Sortron: Connects to Teckle tubes, basically an advanced sorting machine.
  • XC8010 CPU: The standard CPU implementation for this mod. Very similar to RP2's CPU, but not compatible with it (sorry no BASIC (yet))
  • Floppy Disk: A writable disk. Can hold 256KB of data.
  • FORTH Boot Disk: Standard operating system. See here if you need any tips on how to use the operating system.
  • Programs disks: They spawn in dungeon chests and mineshafts and have utilities for either the Transceiver, Retinal Scanner, Sortron or a decompiler on them.
  • Screwdriver: Allows you to change the default bus addresses for the peripherals. You only need this if you want to have two or more of the same peripheral in one network.
Coming soon:

  • Redstone Port: Allows you to output redstone signals to bundled cables.
  • More documentation
Getting started:

  1. Craft a Computer, a CPU, a Disk Drive, any of the three FORTH boot disks and a Terminal.
  2. Place the Computer down and right-click the back of it with the CPU to insert it.
  3. Place the Disk Drive and Terminal next to it.
  4. Insert the boot disk into the Disk Drive.
  5. Right click to open up the Computer's GUI. Press the switch at the right to make it run.
  6. You should now be able to type in the Terminal. Have fun :)
This mod is still pretty new and therefore probably still contains bugs, so please report them here.

If you've made any cool stuff with the mod and want to post them in the mod's subreddit, go ahead! (Also if you have any questions, post there as the documentation is pretty much nonexistant. I look there way more often than here in the comments)

Requires Forgelin, QuackLib, MCMultiPart. Install Teckle to add the Sortron into the game.

and @dr_sam_right with QDC - Quantum Dis-Assembly Craft
dr_sam_right said:
For mod instructions visit qdc-mod.com

Quantum Dis-Assembly Craft is a minecraft mod mainly used to Disassemble and Re-Assemble items and blocks.

This mod also features a way to keep track of discovered items, which can be a fun way to discover every item in the game.

Particle System

This mod is based on a virtual particle system, meaning that the particles are not an item. Particles are gained when disassembling items and blocks using an Item Disassembler . To view the number of particles available one simply needs to access the Item Disassembler, Item Assembler or Particle Exchanger interface.

The main use of particles, is to create items using said particles. The Item Assembler can be used to create items and blocks that were previously discovered by disassembling the item or block using an Item Disassembler .

This mod was designed so that when buying items or blocks, and crafting items using said items or blocks and disassembling the crafted item, extra particles can be gained. This process can be reapeated to gain any type of particle.

One can use a Particle Exchanger to convert any type of particle into an other type of particle. This way, for example if you have a food farm, one can exchange Food Particles into Gem particles to be able to create diamonds or emerald.

Teleport & Elevator

This mod provides a way to teleport to other locations, and a way to move up or down in a specific location. This can be achived by constructing a teleport platform.

and @BlakeBr0 with Extended Crafting
BlakeBr0 said:
Requires Cucumber.

Requires CraftTweaker.*

*It's not necessarily required but the mod is pretty much useless without it.

Extended Crafting adds more ways to craft items, more items to craft with, and more utilities for crafting. The mod doesn't do much on it's own and is intended to be configured heavily. All the recipes and settings should be changed to fit the progression of the modpack it's in and how the modpack developer wants it to be used. I currently have plans to add new content in the future.

Head over to the wiki for CraftTweaker syntax.

Combination Crafting:

  • Combination crafting is a multiblock crafting setup that consists of a Crafting Core and Pedestals.
  • The Crafting Core goes in the center of this structure, and Pedestals can go anywhere around it in a 7x7 area.
  • Combination crafting uses RF to craft, which you need to give to the Crafting Core.
  • An input item needs to be placed on top of the Crafting Core, and all Pedestal items go on the pedestals.
  • You can right click on any side besides the top of the Crafting Core to see a GUI with information about the current setup and recipe.
  • The speed of each recipe's craft is dependent on the recipes RF cost / the recipes RF rate.
  • CraftTweaker Syntax
Table Crafting:

  • Table crafting is a tier'd crafting table system, consisting of new Crafting Tables.
  • These tiers include 1. Basic (3x3), 2. Advanced (5x5), 3. Elite (7x7), and 4. Ultimate (9x9).
  • Recipes can either be tier independent, and work in all tables with enough space, or tier dependent and only work in the tier specified.
  • These tables have a seperate recipe pool and do not work with regular crafting recipes.
  • CraftTweaker Syntax
Compression Crafting:

  • Compression crafting is done inside a machine called the Quantum Compressor.
  • The Quantum Compressor is a high tier RF powered machine that can craft items using high quantities of materials.
  • Materials put inside of the Quantum Compressor go into a massive internal buffer.
  • It also has a "Catalyst" slot, which is used to identify the recipe with the material x catalyst.
  • The catalyst is not consumed once crafting is completed.
  • Once enough of the material is placed into the buffer, the machine will start to use RF and craft the output.
  • The speed of each recipe's craft is dependent on the recipes RF cost / the recipes RF rate.
  • CraftTweaker Syntax
Singularities:

  • Singularities are highly compressed materials.
  • These are created in the Quantum Compressor.
  • The mod comes with some default Singularities, which can be individually disabled in the config.
  • You can add your own Singularities very easily using the configuration file.
  • The mod also adds an Ultimate Singularity, crafted by placing one of each singularity in an Ultimate Crafting Table.
  • You can blacklist default and custom Singularities from this recipe in the configuration file.
Other Things:

  • This mod adds a simple Crafting Table that holds it's inventory.
  • This mod adds a Handheld Crafting Table item for on-the-go crafting.

Overview

Comforts is a mod that, currently, simply adds sleeping bags to Minecraft. These items can be used just like beds except they do not set a player's spawn point on use, safely preserving a player's spawn point at their home base. Just like beds, they also come in 16 different colors!

Configuration Options:

Auto Pick-Up Sleeping Bag - Set to true to automatically attempt to pick up the sleeping bag after sleeping

Recipe

The recipe is simply three pieces of matching color wool in a straight line.

5UaXt3W.gif

You can also dye a regular White Sleeping Bag into any of the other colors!

Y5yNuuq.gif

Planned Features

  • Multi-block hammock structure for daytime napping
  • Option for auto-using the sleeping bag on right click
Compatibility

Fully tested, compatible mods include:

Modpack Policy

Anyone is free to include this mod in their modpacks without notice or permission. If it's a public modpack, notice would be appreciated but not required as I'd be interested in checking it out.

First Aid is a mod that aims to revamp the minecraft health system for players. It adds a "part system", so your feet, hands, head and torso have their own health.

You can heal your body by appying bandages or plaster (just right click). These also restore the shared health. If a part is in a bad condition, debuffs may be applied, or you might even die because of a critical part's health to drop under zero. These effects (except death) can be suppressed by morphine for about 5-7 minutes.

NOTE

This mod disables vanilla health regeneration by default. This can be changed in the config

The only use for fresh water is for boiling and for the sprinkler. The sprinkler will still speed up growth. This option is the most compatible with other farming mods
  • Grindstone recipes are now configurable. In addition several new recipes have been added (in addition to the single 'wheat' -> 'flour' recipe). You can now grind glowstone, bones, gravel, sugarcane and blazerods
  • The grindstone now has a manual
  • Added two new config options for tanks. With 'tankCatchesRain' you can control how much water a tank will catch when it is in the rain. If you set it to 0 this feature is disabled. The other option is 'tankEvaporation'. With this option you can control how much water evaporates when the tank is in the sun
  • Fixed a possible crash when a desalination tank is broken with some tools
  • Fixed potential render issues with the tank
  • Fixed a crash with fresh water falling that could only happen on 1.10

new day, new update, and today it's @josephcsible with Oreberries
josephcsible said:
What does this mod do?
Tinkers' Construct added oreberries in 1.7.10, but they dropped this feature when they moved to newer versions of Minecraft. This mod brings back oreberries and their associated content, and makes them much more configurable than they used to be.

How do I use this mod?
You need Minecraft Forge installed first. Once that's done, just drop oreberries-version.jar in your Minecraft instance's mods/ directory and, optionally, configure it to taste.

What settings does this mod have?
This mod has two configuration files: oreberries.json, where types of oreberries are defined, and oreberries.cfg, where you can control growth chances, bonemeal ability, and tinker villagers.

How do I add/change oreberries?
Edit your oreberries.json file. See the oreberries.json page on the wiki for detailed instructions.

Why does Minecraft crash on startup after I edited oreberries.json?
You may have made a mistake while editing oreberries.json. A syntax error in that file will prevent Minecraft from starting. If you don't see the error, and the crash log doesn't help you find it, try validating the contents of oreberries.json with a tool like JSONLint.com.

How does this mod relate to Tinkers' Construct?
This mod does not depend on Tinkers' Construct, but it does integrate with it if present. Also, this mod uses resources from the 1.7.10 version of Tinkers' Construct, with parts licensed under CC0 and CC-BY 3.0 (both GPL-compatible).

Can I use this in my modpack?
Yes, even if you monetize it with adf.ly or something, and you don't need to ask me for my permission first.

- Vanity: More emote features!

- Allow moving body pieces as well as rotating them. Use _off_x/y/z instead of _x/y/z to do it. For example, to move the head up 1 block in 1000 ms you'd use move head_off_y 1000 1. This is compatible with all the normal move modifiers.

- Added a reset feature, which lets a model piece be set to all the default values. You can do this using reset (piece/all) (rotation/offset/all). For example, to rotate every piece's rotation in 500 ms, you'd use reset all rotation 500. To reset the head offset in 300 ms you'd use reset head offset 300, and to reset the left leg's offset and rotation in 1000 ms you'd use reset left_leg all 1000. While reset can not have delay/repeat/yoyo applied to it, it can be put inside a section, which itself can have these.

- Added unit. Before you start your animation, you can define a speed unit, which determines the timeline at which the animation happens. The default unit is 1, so if you use unit 2, the animation becomes 2x slower. To make it 4x faster, for example, you'd use unit 0.25. One potential use of this is to make a dance with a defined tempo. A 120BPM song has a full beat every 0.5 seconds, so you could use unit 500, and then your move commands, and other time based commands will work in song beats instead of milliseconds. So something like move head_x 1 1.57 would rotate your head 90º in 500 ms, or one song beat. You can also just use this to tweak the global animation speed without changing all the values.

- Added the ability to use values with fractional parts in time based commands.

- Fixed the emote error log being one line off.

Face_of_Cat said:
It adds two new machines: Ore Processor and Fluid Processor.

Ore Processor will take in ores (only 1 item at a time, make sure you setup your pipes correctly) and output searing fluid.

Fluid Processor will take in fluids and output ingots. By default 1 bucket of searing fluid will produce 1 ingot, 1 bucket of hot fluid will produce 2 ingots and 1 bucket of cool fluid will produce 3 ingots.

Both machines have 2 fluid tanks, one that stores the fluid ore and that is accessed from bottom side, and one that stores the gaseous lava residue and that can be accessed from top side.

Power and items can be accessed from any other side.

It's time for a new Vanilla style mod.

This simple mod will make some animals spawn as babies. By default about half the animals will be baby.

Baby animals have random age so will take more / less time than others to grow.

Mod Support

  • Baby Mobs - Zombie Chicken can become baby. Off by default in config

The mod is fully configurable

Configuration File:

# Configuration file

general {
# Chance for an animal to become a baby animal (default: 50.0)

I:max_age_ticks=24000

# Minium random value to set the baby animals age (default: 6000)
I:min_age_ticks=6000

Trinkets to help you better understand your world

How does it work?

This mod will remove all entries from the F3 debug menu. Information is then re-added once you have the appropriate item that is related to that information. Some items will have multiple pieces of information, and vanilla items can also have info provided by them. The information provided by the item is also shown in the item's tooltip.

Current Items?

  • Compass - The X and Z of the player
  • Stopwatch - The movement speed of the player
  • Sextant - The current moon phase
  • Depth Meter - The Y of the player
  • Debugger - WIP
  • Slimey Compass - Whether or not the player is in a slime chunk
  • Chunker - The Chunk's X and Y coordinate
  • DPS Monitor - WIP
  • Structure - WIP

Terraria as inspiration?

Yes, this mod was inspired by the informational accessories from Terraria. The level of inspiration includes several of the items in the mod, and in some cases textures were directly inspired by the Terraria textures. None of the Terraria textures are included in this mod.

Planned Features?

  • Crafting Recipes
  • FPS/Debug Info
  • Ability to white-list pre-existing entries so they're not cleared.
  • Item support for other mods that add to the f3 menu.

This small mod adds several items, aimed at reducing the earlygame downtime in skyblock maps. Because honestly, nobody likes sitting there mining cobble for half an hour, or trying to gather enough wood, while hoping not to starve because you didn't get any apple drops.

There are several specialized tools, which are given to the player when he spawns. Compatibility with island mods etc. may not be possible yet. The tools are not modifiable, but also have infinite durability.

Bane of Cobble
A Pickaxe specially designed to be used for a cobblegen. Infinite durability, can only break stone blocks, very fast speed. When used with a lava & water cobblegen it doesn't consume the cobble block, allowing for fast continued harvesting.

Bane of Logs
A Lumberaxe specially designed for chopping down trees. Infinite durability, can only harvest logs.

Bane of Leaves
A Scythe specially designed to harvest leaves. Infinite durability, Can only break leaves but drops the leaf blocks.

Personal Space Enforcer
A frying pan with large knockback, but no damage. Keep those pesky enemies away.

Wooden Hopper
Simple earlygame hoppers to allow early automation. Only 1 slot and slower than their metal counterparts. Cannot be controlled via redstone. They use RWTemas DietHopper hitbox, so you can click past them.

Here's a new Vanilla Feeling ore. But this time /u/MushirMickeyJoe had an awesome idea (and texture).
Gold ore in the nether.
X9vtmqI.png

This mod is not meant to be a rip-off of the Nether Ores mod. It just wants to add a vanilla style way to make it worth spending time into the nether

The Nether Gold ore is a new ore that spawns everywhere in the nether.

It's pretty rare but veins are pretty big.

LFbGFwI.png

When mined will drop between 4 and 6 nuggets (increased with fortune)

But be aware. Gold is pigmen's treasure and if you steal it they have a chance to get angry at you.

In configuration file there's a section when you can even set a chance (and time) to set the player on fire when he mines the ore.

Configuration File:

Spoiler (click to hide)
# Configuration file

ignite_player {
# Chance for the ore to set on fire the player. Set to 0 to disable (default: 0)
I:ignite_player_chance=0

# Seconds that the player will be set on fire (default: 0)
I:ignite_player_seconds=0
}

ore_drops {
# How much fortune will affect nugget drops (check max_nugget_per_ore) (default: 0.5)
D:fortune_multiplier=0.5

# Minumum amount of experience drop from the Ore (without silktouch) (default: 2)
I:max_exp_drop=2

# Maximum nuggets drop from the Ore (without fortune)
# With fortune max_nuggets_per_ore is increased with what follows: (max_nuggets_per_ore * (fortune level * fortune_multiplier))
# That means that with Fortune III you can get up to 4 times more max nuggets (if fortune_multiplier is 1.0)
# (default: 6)
I:max_nuggets_per_ore=6

# Minumum amount of experience drop from the Ore (without silktouch) (default: 0)
I:min_exp_drop=0

# Minumum nuggets drop from the Ore (without fortune) (default: 4)
I:min_nuggets_per_ore=4
}

ore_generation {
# Number of blocks generated per vein (not exact) (default: 25)
I:block_per_vein=22

# The maximum height (Y) to try to generate Veins (default: 128)
I:max_Y=128

# The minimum height (Y) to try to generate Veins (default: 0)
I:min_Y=0

# Number of veins that have to try to spawn per chunk (default: 1)
I:vein_per_chunk=1
}

pigman_aggro {
# Chance for zombie pigman to get aggroed when a nether gold ore is mined. Set to 0 to disable (default: 10)
I:pigman_aggro_chance=10

# Radius (from block) for zombie pigman to get aggroed when a nether gold ore is mined
# The radius has to be intended as a cube and not a sphere (default: 16)
I:pigman_aggro_radius=16
}
Any idea for a new configurable option is welcome!

This mod adds a set of "inventory mascots". They are special items which can be found as loot in dungeon chests.

EsIJ

The twist is that, as long as they are in a container of some kind, they're sentient! Sort of. For example, they can react in certain ways to different items placed in the same inventory they are in - that is to say, certain mascots will start running towards a certain kind of item. Other functionality may be added in the future. Video Example

invneko-list.png

The mod currently provides five different mascots. From left to right: Neko, Tora-Neko, Dog, Sakura Kinomoto and Tomoyo Daidouji. Collect them all!

The inspiration for the mod, as well as the assets used, come from the "oneko" program for Unix-based operating systems.

The recommended GUI scale for this mod is "Normal". Note that the mascots will only work in rectangular containers such as chests - other types of containers may prove too complicated for them and they'll just go to sleep.

Sit makes it possible to use slabs and stairs like chairs. Simply rightclick a right side up slab or stair block to sit on it. To exit, press the key you use to exit a minecart (by default SHIFT). Usually, mod blocks are supported, however if any do not work, please contact me.

This mod works on singleplayer as well as multiplayer, but needs to be installed on both sides if it's used on a server.

You are allowed to use this mod in any modpack.

Basically, it's just the Traveller's Belt from Tinkers', but it's for 1.10.2. It switches between 3 hotbars, instead of 2, though, because 2 was never enough for me.

Craft and equip the Fanny Pack to your belt slot, and you can now press the hotkey (backslash by default) to swap your 9 hotbar slots with another hotbar. You can keep your blocks on one, tools on another, and bags of holding on yet a third hotbar!

I only spent a few hours on this mod, my first Java project in a few years. From my limited testing, it works well enough, but expect bugs.

To do:

I might make the fanny pack upgradable with additional hotbars (starting from 2) instead of just always 3.
