He said he's just updating now. Am not pressing for specifics. If he's anything like me, maintaining old code is not a fun job, not nearly as much fun as writing new code or taking care of higher-priority, real-life stuff.
Sweet. Binnie's alive and hopefully EB/ET will be updated and out of it's dev/beta stage "soon." This is good to know.
I added EB/ET to my world and just remebered how much I had missed it. It's great to see it's coming back. Fingers crossed for new content (butterflies?).
I hope Binnie won't be one of those mod developers who doesn't hand over the project to others
*coughEloraamcough* I jest, but really, I hope not. Extra Bees, at the very least, has become one of my go-to mods, I would be sad to see it go. Although, if it does go the way of Redpower, heaven forbid, I'm sure that there will be someone else that will take the mantle and re-create EB & ET in their own vision. Heck, the new one may actually bee better (Sorry for the pun, I gave in to the temptation).
In the same vein, I've been hanging out in the Gendustry MCF thread and read that bdew (his username screws with my dyslexia, tbh) might add his own bees some time after the v1.0 release (Link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...-beta-updated-2412/page__st__60#entry27439117 under the second reply).

Personally, I know that now. Over the past little while, I was in with everyone else; woefully misinformed, but my post still stands should Binnie legitimately quit modding and not hand over the source of his mod for someone else to continue the legacy.
