Breed all the bees. Nice time-taker. Then breed all the trees. Then research all of Thaumcraft. Then figure out how to change your name to jadedcat so that you can get the Jaded bee. Then attempt to breed IC2 crops with their completely illogical breeding system. That might take longer then all this other stuff combined exaggerating.

Yeah, breed ALL(except for one) of the Bees! Then make a AE network which can autocraft ALL the things(except for TC3 items, which have to be done by hand) and proceed to do so until you have a 64k Storage Disk per item COMPLETELY FULL! INCLUDING 64k DISKS FOR AE!
Then drain the world of aura. Well, all that you can. Best done with a tiny node, a set of magic mirrors, a bunch of cobble, and clever positioning.
Then get all the aura back with some crystal clusters. You just need to find the largest node on the map and jam a metric fuckload of clusters in it's range, not too hard. Oh right, it'll take a few months(assuming this is on a server and it's left running 24/7, if not, might take upwards of a year)
After that, add UE and Atomic Science and ICBM, then make enough antimatter missiles to fill a 64k storage cell, then launch them all.

Why don't you just suggest they replace a nether lava lake with diamond blocks? Of course, no machines allowed.
Honestly, if you're looking for stuff to do, you need to just stop for a moment and think. What would be the coolest, most awesome thing you could build? It could have a purpose...or not. It could have no purpose besides being cool and fun to build. Don't worry about whether it's possible or not. I'm assuming by your lack of things to do that you have resources aplenty. Just...go do it. Build a frame-powered lava rig to drain the nether (unless you're on a server, since people probably won't appreciate that unless you share your lava). Experiment with Computers and Turtles. Build a ridiculously complicated rube goldberg machine. Refine your sorting or ore processing systems. Fill a barrel with UU matter. Build a binary adder with RedPower.

My point was that you might as well do it in vanilla if you're not using any machines.And you can do it in FTB
Then build a MFFS security system for your base. Or a frame-powered mining airship. Or a computer to monitor your power system. Or a Factorization system to optimize your ore processing. There are many things you can build that have some purpose. Have you done anything with Thaumcraft? Lots of useful stuff there. Or Bees? Bees could easily consume a few weeks of your time, and produce a lot of useful (and often quite rare) resources.
