Vanilla is so OP.
  • The blocks float
  • The water is infinite
  • You can get wood from trees with your bare hands
  • You can wield magic with a simple table made of obsidian, diamonds and a book!
  • You can make end game weapons & armor with gem stones!
  • Asexual humanoids sell you items they haven't even crafted!
  • You can carry metric tons of materials.
  • You can store hundreds of animals safely within a 1 meter cage
Vanilla Minecraft is TOO OP!

I am dead serious. You made me want a mod that has: Finite water. Some tech tree related shit to aquiring (Is that a word?) wood. Expensive magic gathering. And further diamond processing.

What's OP depends on your opinion - Rotarycraft has insanely good end-game that's not too hard to get to, Dartcraft is just OP in general but not as much as Rotarycraft, Blood Magic can eat souls with proper TLC, Thaumic Tinkerer's Ichor section is absolutely bonkers, but expensive as hell, TiCo is OP because you can pretty much make just about anything with proper experience, and there's even more that I don't want to mention cause they're complicated/too hard to explain.

Big Reactors is definitely one - if you make the max size reactor (32x32x48) with enough fuel to kickstart it and a good enough design, you can pump out hundreds of thousands of RF/t. Or you can build a steam turbine and get a steady 27k RF/t with an almost self-sustaining setup.

It would be interesting to actually have to cut gemstones in order to use them. Probably would end up a machine doing it eventually, but having to craft a jeweler's loop and cutting tools to do it manually at first would be somewhat amusing. Having to do tech to get wood would be a problem, though...how would you get anything better than dirt/sand without the ability to make a wooden pick (well, iirc, technically you can get cobblestone from punching stone, put it takes a ridiculous amount of time.)

Actually you can't, cobblestone doesn't actually drop anything if you don't use a tool.

Archimedes ships is a good one. For some wool and string you can go anywhere and they have even made easily craftable engines in the latest update. It is to the point where I think it would be better to use than flight from other mods. Which reminds me, morph can be op as well plus advanced genetics.

The thing about Archimedes, though, is that although you have portable flight it is a lot more difficult as well as slower than other flying methods from what I remember. Morph with abilities I tend to agree with, although it is fun to kill someone that is in bat form! ;3

Why use Archimedes Ships for flight when you can use a hang glider? :)
