What OS might that be? ^_^Your laptop ain't slow, your OS is.
A nice comment btw though, what OS would you recommend I use? can just test both(xcept for OSX) and post the differences if you want

Nice to see someone using a surface! and never seen someone using a controller before.
I wonder whether the surface pro 2 will improve a lot on the fps you get compared to the surface pro. Its bound to be better because of haswells GT graphics, but I'm wondering what the impact will be exactly.
I'm playing on a PC mostly, or a laptop when I'm on the move, or over at a friends place.
Specs for the PC are:
AMD FX-8120 OCed to 4600MHz
Corsair H100i
Corsair Carbide 500R
16GB of samsung DDR3 mem at 1990MHz with 9-10-10-29 timings
Asus Sabertooth 990FX
AMD HD Radeon 7950 at 1160MHz mem at 6200MHz
Samsung 830 120GB SSD
3x seagate 2,5inch 7200RPM 320GB hdds in a storage spaces striped raid (scavenged from old laptops )
Corsair AX860i
Samsung S23A750D (120Hz 3D monitor) + various other monitors
Laptop main specs are:
i5 460M
8GB 1333MHz RAM
AMD 5650 at 700Mhz mem at 920MHz
Seagate Slim SSHD 500GB
1080p 15,6inch screen
Laptop is a bit too slow for my taste, as I need to dial down the graphics options a bit at times. However, all is relative i suppose
I never use anything other than a keyboard and mouse for controllers
hey how do i use a (xbox) controller on ftb???Yeah haven't seen many people using them even tho they are awesome
I personally can't play Minecraft without it since I started using it.. Moving and building is ten times easier, crafting is a lot harder however after a while and when you get an AE system it doesn't matter
not anymore. windows actually supports the xbox 360 controller now. you can even remap the keys. You might need an emulator too?
I know what he's talking about. You used to have to run an emulator'ish thing to map keys to your 360 controller...forgot the name of the app atm, but yeah, he's not crazy. Why?
