You can find Ender bees in the End in hives. I'm unsure if you can make an End in a mystraft world or not either by pages or using a stronghold. As for habitats they work fine in the overworld but require the Dragon Egg as a flower. I just picked some up last night and I'm building up a stack of drones for breeding.

I was just in a Meadows biome from ExtraBiomes. Closest vanilla analog is a Plains biome. Ender bees require normal humidity and can survive in Cold and Normal temperatures. So Jungles, Deserts, and Swamps are out for sure as well as the Nether. Also the End won't work since they don't consider it to have a sky.

It says hostile environment everywhere I check.
What biome in the over world?

No vanilla biome in the overworld works, and I'm fairly certain no extrabiomes biome either. You can try modifying the bee.

Of course, you still need the egg.

The End bee works with plains.
You can Genetic Machines the End Bee to require flowers or something.

I'm breeding Ender bees right now in a Meadows biome from ExtraBiomes. I tried breeding them in the End and they can't see the sky. From what I see they just need Normal or Cold Temp and Normal Humidity.

I'm breeding in an ice-plains biome with some temp tolerance from the acclimatizer and I changed them to polinate regular flowers.

After many, many asteroids searched in the End, I finally found a set of ender bees. Made a small platform near where the servers End spawn was, borrowed the dragon egg off the intrepid individual who had killed the dragon, and bred me some bees. Made a few batches of drones so when I nabbed the genome I did so without killing my supply.

No idea about breeding them in the overworld, but they worked fine in the End off the bat with egg nearby. Full MPS suit nullified the bee's End Effect nicely too (Only effect I've had no luck with it stopping was the Creeper one... OUCH that hurt).

Lol thanks. I like the regular bees. They're very beey.

If you are looking for basic bee products Cultivated are the way to go with Honey Comb produced about 1 a minute give or take. If you are interested in alvearies at all you will want to work up the Industrious and Imperial lines which are both derived from Common and Cultivated branches. That's how I started and now I'm hooked I have bees all over the place and several different little projects. I have bees that give XP, bees that fight mobs, bees that heal, and bees that provide my power production.

I did the same and pumped all of that into a carpenter for parts and have been massfabbing alvearies for all of my important products. If you really want to make some seed oil try get a Common Walnut tree or Chessnut. I now have more Seed Oil than I know what to do with.
