I was playing on my friend's FTB server hosted by Multiplay which he bought 2 days ago. The first day, it was absolutely fine and i had no issues. Yesterday I tried joining the server, it joined fine but i tried breaking a block and it did not produce the block to pick up. The world was also loading chunks VERY slowly, i could not see accurate positions of other server users, and mobs would not appear until they'd already killed me. It was almost as if there was a 30 second delay.

It is not affecting any other users. I did have a horrible belkin router which would not allow me to open/forward ports, but today i swapped it out for a new Huawei router which i have not messed around with the settings yet as everything seems to work...except minecraft.

My pc is rather high spec (Budget high spec, AMD FX4100 processor, 8GB RAM, Radeon 6770 GPU) and has not had any issues with minecraft ever. Especially none like this. It sounds like a connection issue, however i have no idea what to do.

Help?

If you say "latest" a lot of people capable of helping you will just ignore you. Give us numbers, and as much information as possible.

Alright, my java is version 7 update 9, my graphics drivers are the 12.10 version of AMD Catalyst. I have force updated my FTB launcher just to make sure it is correct and I have no other mods or texture packs installed.

Nobody else who uses the server has a problem. I have launched a new world in single player and it worked fine.

Try connecting to my server: OratoryMultiGaming.com
If you still have the same problems there, it might be your new router that have some kind of issue.

The thing is, it did this with the old router Aswell, which did not allow you to forward ports due to its terrible software.
I will attempt to connect to the server when I am home, currently out at the moment.
EDIT: I attempted to connect to your server but i am whitelisted. I made a post on your thread with my details.

Ok, it is official that Talk Talk are the worst Internet provider available to UK customers. When i tried to open ports on my new router, it seemed successful in doing so but when i used a port checker it told me that every port i tried checking was closed. So i'm making an assumption that since my last router had the same problem, that Talk Talk doesn't want us to have control of our own internet.

I do not however, think this has to do with my issue, because if it is true then surely this would happen on my old router aswell?

Anybody else had this problem?
