Weird Bug ?

hi guys, problem is basically im opening ftb then going into options to change the RAM usage to 4-5 gb but thing is i cant go further than 1 gb
-x64 java
-x64 computer
-x32 java uninstalled
-ftb re-installed
-pc restarted
-nothing conflicts with program
so do anyone have any ideas about what is the problem ?

i said i dont have 32 bit java installed... i checked my files and deleted it long ago.It just acts like there is a 32 bit java installed

Well im enough with that shit im switching to Technic pack i dont like it but atleast that works

Done. Still same, cant give more than 1 gb ram... i really want to play Direwolf20 pack but with 1 gb ram allocated i cant even open the game...

No, not at all. Doing that will cause more problems than you want to deal with.
You need to do a clean reinstall of java.
Uninstall all versions. Restart your system. Reinstall Java 64 bit.

ok i uninstalled it and downloaded it through internet explorer this time, im going restart my system and install 64 bit java.Will post results...

No, you need to do it in this order. 1. Uninstall. 2. Restart. 3. Reinstall.

Edit: don't do anything else between steps...

i did it as you said and didnt worked... i guess i need to force ftb to use x64 java even if i dont have a x32 java.
and in the console it still says i have 32 bit java.
