That's no problem, you take as long as you need.

I don't even care if this takes a year longer to get out, you should just have fun, this is your mod. If anyone complains about the sightly late arrival of it, then 1) Fuck them. 2) Send them to me ;)

I must agree that people shouldn't ignore each other. I think we should always see what WS says, even though you may not agree with him. Ignring him will only make him think that he is right and you can't admit. FIGHT HIM INSTEAD!

I think there are reasons sometimes.
I guess in this very situation i should ignore anything that may cause stress.....

Anyways, fighting back ascends into arguing, which ends with someone getting warning off moderators.
Thats the reason why i ignored him, to stop myself.

wolfsilver00, if much of what you're going to post are lines impugning the intellectual integrity and general intelligence of people who don't cede your point, you have no business posting here. Personal attacks are not limited to mere spurts of profanity. Your most recent post is deleted. Don't reply any further to this thread. Do not argue about it either (that's actually a forum rule). Just go.

Vineacraft will not work very well by its self.
Currently its designed to be played with either buildcraft, thermal expansion or both.

Without either of them (until i make my liquid transport) it wont be any good.
The ore processing kinda wont work without bc or te, since it will need ALOT of acidic vine sap into 4 blocks.

Liquid transport == Hollow vine tubing.

Yes, it's 16x16, but it can be divided to be 4x4, so you can have a very basic tube model which can be transparent. And you can have liquids flowing inside of it. Probably.

If not, a tube made of vines (sort of like the stem of a flower) may be an excuse to have low-tier liquid transport, being able to store very small amounts of fluid in a tube.

The TE liquiduct may prove useful for this.

Fluid transport is kinda all planned out.
I just dont want to say it yet, but it will be for intelligence, unlike stuff like liquiducts.
Just wait a few months and see ;D

Edit: Fluid logistics pipes also will work very well with Vineacraft.

I've only read about the last 1/2 the posts here so forgive my ignorance, but a couple of comments:

Neat mod. The grappling hook armo(u)r sounds like lots of fun, as does the vine-man walking on walls. I like the idea of a vine or vine weave as the liquid transport. Even cooler if they were OPAQUE and you couldn't see the fluid in them, but they would drip like water and lava do now through dirt and stone with the liquid they are carrying. Vine not being the best building material.

Also, consider several tiers of objects for creation. Since this is being developed over the FTB forums, consider that it will most likely be distributed with other mods. MFR seriously destroys any limiting based on the number of vines you have. 10 mins of game time with a jungle tree harvester will fill a double chest with vines. I constructed my first void pipe to combat the sheer number of vines I had coming into my system. So other than early game items, reliance should be on vines that have been process in some way: dried, soaked in water, run through your pressing machine, something. :)

Also, you open the possibility to cultivate vines with different colored blooms on them to decorate one's home. I hope something like that could make it in. Entirely non-functional but awesome looking designs on castle walls that GREW there.

Hopefully I didn't bring up any long-ago discussed items.

Thanks for the support.

There are many problems with MFR jungle trees (some of the idea's of vineacraft came from having too many vines from that) is that the amount that they can make is absurd, you usually woudnt be able to process it all.
What im going to do is have the numbers configurable, if people want to have vines give little vine sap because of their farms, go ahead.
Vineacraft is designed to be used with other mods, so things are "balanced" by that, but there are just some problems that are too "problematic".
I dont like going over processing in different machines, i focus on having fun instead of processing for "balance" people can play with op things if they want, or they can play things harder.

I like the idea about blooms, that also brings the idea of putting vines onto the flowers, i also plan on adding vines that dont grow, but still let you climb and render correctly.

I've been thinking about the vine bow for awhile, ive had the texture for awhile.
I just want a way for it to be 'different' again, i have a few ideas which i may reveal soon :3

the only "different" thing possible for a bow is to create a new type of effect, a paralytic poison perhaps?
