villager breeding what am i doing wrong?

ok so i have an large house with lots of doors and some villagers and they are not breeding any idea what im doing wrong?

9 doors wont make them breed in my villager breeding area i have 16 houses with 4 doors on each also is the roof glass if so villager wont class it as a house

Villagers will only spawn if their numbers are <35% than what the amount of eligible doors are.

so i added 15 more doors heres hoping it works, though the ratio for villager to doors is kinda stupid

place 2 villagers on the floor, then 10 block above the floor do a 5x5 platform, fill it with doors, do a roof on top of them and add walls. and a villager inside.

100 villagers after some time.

this is by docm, it's a great and functional design

though you do need a few villagers to really kickstart it

Oh my, MC wiki. Well their definition of "condensed" is... uh... interesting.

well i really wanted to add peasents to my castle but thanks to the definition of a village minecraft has ill settle for a breeding machine.

If at least the definition of a valid door on the MC wiki is correct, you should be able to create an arbitrarily long, 8 blocks wide area, completely filled with doors with solid blocks on top, and each door should count towards the population.
