"Wirefire" is the effect where not only the overpowered device explodes, but so does a lot of other devices along the same line even if they are powered correctly. You must be real careful because the IC2 machines will not explode on their own and possibly cover up a mistake that will cause a GT machine to explode. But that's the fun in it to me, making sure to design and build to a "code" of sorts.
I insinuated that's what you meant but yeah, I am now being alot more carefull. :} I haven't played with IC2 in over a year or more so I'm a bit rusty. With the builders wand, it sure is quicker to setup iron tanks now that's for sure. I had made a program for turtles to build tanks for me previously. I'm trying to give in to this stf and not fall back to TE and drink the GT koolaid. If I fubar something completely, I'll probably end up using aromabackup and restore world but that's last resort.
But I'm a klutz, so I'm sure I'll be doing some biblical cataclysms at some point in time. TWICE, TWICE I have made the same mistake in AGskies and yet I didn't learn. I just stopped short at around 90+% to finish it finally but I started thaumcraft, and I repeated the same mistake I did before (and posted on the forums about the first time). I shoved some TNT in some AA's with hammers not checking for levers and boom, there goes half my building. Just quit in disgust after that stupid one. Maybe I'll finish agskies maybe not, who knows. and now I'm here waiting to fully blow up this world.
Speaking of which, I would give anything for some blood magic rituals to remove my feline problem. I think I figured out that if you're in a jungle biome and clearcut all the trees, they have more room to spawn, thus go nuts. it is fun watching them chase creepers around but that gets old.
also whoever said something about chocolate quest being op? I have 2 chests full of armor/weapons from one trip to the nether alone. Loving it :} I won't have to make armor ever....
As far as infernal mobs go, so far no major issues cept one. that one ability where they steal your weapon, I had 1 main sword and in my knapsack, about 2-3 extras that I picked up during the trip. I had a blizz steal all my swords, then my picks and we were over lava so I had to make a platform over lava while avoiding his fireballs and get my crap back from him. that one drives me nuts moreso then the regen one. or creepers throwing potions (whut?)
lastly, from a newbie GT perspective, I don't see you doing this and I could be wrong since maybe I haven't gotten that far, but I think it would be good to address all the ores GT adds in. Seeing that there are so many, you could do an entire line of quests revolving about those ores and what they are for, importance, etc... I actually found 1 iridium and was pretty happy till I looked at what they are used for now and realized that it took one massive MASSIVE mining trip to find a single one. I am not setting up any extra cells stf for a while I guess. I know they probably spawn 1 per chunk so that's going to hurt. Maybe mining lasers will get me more. But I think you could pad alot of quests doing that alone if you know gt that well, etc...
time to leave bronze age. yay. <boom>[DOUBLEPOST=1405069404][/DOUBLEPOST]
There is a way to limit reward bags and many have been. I have if I remember correctly limited the sword and flint hoe to either 5 or 10
tell me man, how many S&S's am I going to get huh? Lemme know your positional coordinates so I can get an asteroid to fall on your location and we'll have a nice long discussion afterwards about broken bones ......
